| ABARE recognises the skills and knowledge held by its former employees and has introduced an Alumni program. This program offers both short and longer term employment opportunities for former and retired ABARE employees. The ABARE Alumni program aims to: — build a cohort of informed and interested former employees to assist ABARE achieve its goals and to strengthen its links to the wider community — provide ABARE’s current managers with direct access to the right people for specific positions and projects — access valuable corporate knowledge, skills and experience held by former or retired employees The Alumni program enables former and retired employees to maintain their relationship with ABARE, and offers opportunities to maintain and build on professional knowledge, as well as the chance to share expertise and to mentor colleagues. It is expected that the majority of vacancies would be suitable for former staff with economic and statistical qualifications and experience. Occasionally, however, there may be scope for former corporate support staff to undertake short or longer term assignments. ABARE is keen to hear from former employees who may wish to register their interest to be considered for various projects and individual roles.
